Submit a Feature Request for Other Team’s Project¶
Your task is two-fold: first, as a team or individually explore another team’s project to spot opportunities for improvement, and second, discuss the proposals with your classmates.
- Your representative should ask another team for permission to review their project and submit a feature request.
- You should give access to your project to the requesting teams.
- Approach another team’s project with the eye of a curious outsider.
- Identify a missing feature, enhancement, or improvement that would genuinely help users.
- Create a clear and well-reasoned feature request issue in the other team’s issue tracker. Use the feature request template they prepared earlier.
- Discuss your proposal with the rest of the class and the tutor to compare perspectives and refine your understanding of good feature design.
