Submit a Feature Request for Other Team’s Project

Your task is two-fold: first, as a team or individually explore another team’s project to spot opportunities for improvement, and second, discuss the proposals with your classmates.

  1. Your representative should ask another team for permission to review their project and submit a feature request.
  2. You should give access to your project to the requesting teams.
  3. Approach another team’s project with the eye of a curious outsider.
  4. Identify a missing feature, enhancement, or improvement that would genuinely help users.
  5. Create a clear and well-reasoned feature request issue in the other team’s issue tracker. Use the feature request template they prepared earlier.
  6. Discuss your proposal with the rest of the class and the tutor to compare perspectives and refine your understanding of good feature design.
