Find inconsistencies in other teams' use cases

In this activity, you will review use cases created by other teams and identify any inconsistencies or ambiguities in their definitions.

Extra points

Every identified and tutor verified inconsistency will earn your team extra points: up to 5 extra points.

Gratitude

The other teams (those whose use cases you are reviewing) could decide to pay up to 5 extra points from their own extra points if they find your review particularly helpful.

Instructions

  1. Every team will review the use cases of the team sitting in front of them. If you are the first team, review the last team's use cases.
  2. One team member will ask and granted Guest role to the other teams' projects.
  3. Review the issues labeled with use case in the assigned project.
  4. Identify any inconsistencies or ambiguities in the use case definitions. Look for:
    • Vague or unclear descriptions
    • Missing information
    • Conflicting requirements
    • Any other aspect that could lead to misunderstandings
  5. Document each identified inconsistency or ambiguity by adding a comment to the respective issue.
  6. Once you have reviewed all use cases, discuss your findings with your team and prepare to present them to the class.
